Addition and subtraction of decimal numbers

An easy way in which you can add or subtract decimal numbers, is the column method. For the column method, you need to write the decimal symbol of each number under each other and the correct digits under the corresponding place values. Then, add or subtract from the right-hand side to the left-hand side to determine the answer.
